Your first glimpse as you step through the gates of Villa Classy will be the sight of the elegant façade. Enter a courtyard filled with olive trees, plants and brightly coloured flowers. The layout of the property over two floors ensures plenty of privacy for two families or a group of guests who want to holiday together but have the option of retreating to their own space when they wish.

Villa Classy is in eastern Sicily, perfectly located for total immersion in the island’s dazzling colours, archaeology and historic and natural treasures. We definitely recommend visiting Syracuse and Noto, but don’t miss out on the Vendicari Nature Reserve and the natural springs at Cavagrande. You won’t regret it!

A driveway lined with lemon trees, typical of the area, and lush plants leads you to the main entrance to the farmhouse.

Behind the villa is a beautiful 10 x 5 m private swimming pool surrounded by a fine green English garden. Here, there is stylish furniture, a large covered patio and a lounge area. You have everything you need to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

And now, we come to the house:

At first glance inside, you’ll find a beautiful and elegant space where the large windows let in plenty of light. This consists of a living/dining room and a beautiful and rustic kitchen which overlooks the pool area. The living room has a stylish, welcoming atmosphere, and the kitchen is decorated with light grey and blue tones and typical Sicilian ceramics.

From the living area, we move to the sleeping area, which consists of five bedrooms and three bathrooms, all elegantly furnished, bright and spacious.

All of this is just a short distance away from the sea and the fascinating Baroque towns of Sicily.

At the entrance, you won’t fail to be charmed by the well-manicured garden, tastefully decorated with pots and quality Sicilian tiles, and then by the classy terrace and fine swimming pool (which can be heated during the colder months).

The volcanic stone, with its colour and reflections, characterises not only the swimming pool, but also the pretty, furnished outdoor areas and the BBQ (with sink and worktop) where you can prepare appetisers or tasty traditional Sicilian dishes.

The same class and elegance can be found indoors. Woodwork, quality tiles, pottery and other design elements all combine to give life to a delightful, peaceful and refined space.

The living area is on the ground floor. It is characterised by the beautiful parquet steps and marble fireplace, and is further enriched with carpets, ornaments and quality paintings. On this floor, there is also a fitted kitchen with a retractable wall, a dining area, and a double bedroom with bathroom.

The other three bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out over the lower area and the loft.

Finally, one more novel area for relaxation: the massage room. Here, if you wish, you can put yourself in the skilled hands of a professional masseur and make your stay at Villa Shanti both emotional and,  even more relaxing (Shanti means ‘peace’ in Sanskrit).

And then there’s Syracuse, just a few minutes away, and the wonderful baroque pearls of Sicily – Noto, Modica, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla – as well as the wonderful Sicilian nature with the Vendicari reserve and the crystal-clear sea, and then… well, you really need to see it all for yourself!

Gates open into the grounds and a pathway of steps leads up to the entrance and main section of the villa, which offers light, bright and airy accommodation on two levels, and accommodates 6 persons.  Exterior access, via the driveway, leads to the lower level, which is self-contained, enjoys separate access, and is ideal for a larger party looking for independence in the layout of their accommodation. 

The swimming pool is set in a wooden decked surround, bordered by a garden laid to lawn, with palm trees and shrubs, and enclosed by hedges and there are open and covered terraces, with retractable awnings for shade and sun, and a barbecue for alfresco dining. Heated pool on request

Gates open into the enclosed grounds, which have high walls, and a garden laid to lawn with palm trees and flowering shrubs.  The swimming pool, with a good shallow section, is ideal for families with children, and is set in an open decked terrace surround, a perfect spot for sunbathing, and there is a covered terrace, which runs the length and side of the property, to provide welcome shade from the mid-day sun.

The terrace is furnished with a comfy rattan suite and there are table and chairs, and an outdoor kitchen, with built-in barbecue, for alfresco dining.

The original character of the property has been carefully maintained and enhanced with the use of white Modica stone and also of bamboo, which helps to create zen-like spaces that add atmosphere to the villa.

A short walkway leads from the pool into the villa. Set on two independent levels, Villa Erica is the ideal choice for a holiday for two or three couples, or a family. The vast apartment (100 square meters) overlooks two gardens and is conveniently placed 50 meters from the Maniace Castle, 100 meters from Piazza Duomo and the Bellomo National Museum, not to mention the two beaches of Ortigia.  

There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with two single beds.  A white wardrobe opens into a small kitchenette; the bathroom is fitted with massaging water jets in the shower.

The house also comes with TV and Wi-Fi.
