In the lush reserve of the Belice river mouth, among maritime pines, eucalyptus, and Mediterranean scrub, you will experience pure beauty, exclusivity, and tranquillity, enjoying the breath of nature.

The bio-design pool blends perfectly with the colours and morphology of the reserve, taking on the hues of the sky and blending into the surrounding blue sea.

A path leads from the residence’s garden to a furnished pagoda overlooking the crystal-clear sea, where you can spend pleasant days on the sandy beach just a few meters away. The pagoda has a small fridge and an outdoor shower for maximum comfort.

The outdoor spaces are cosy and inviting, with comfortable upholstered sofas that invite absolute relaxation and enjoyment of the landscape. You can spend convivial moments on the two beautiful covered terraces and prepare tasty barbecues on the stone grill, accompanied by the sea breeze and the scents of the lush reserve. The outdoor shower will offer a pleasant feeling of freshness to relax after a day in the sun.

Inside the cottage, a spacious and harmonious living room with a dining area provides a breathtaking panoramic view, giving the feeling of facing a natural work of art. The well-equipped and beautifully furnished kitchen overlooks the living room and the outdoor patio (with a dining table), a perfect place to enjoy meals in the fresh air.

The cottage has three double bedrooms (one can be converted into a twin), all with mosquito nets on the windows for peaceful sleep and two full bathrooms.

You may also encounter a sweet and harmless donkey along the path that leads from the cottage to the beach, a truly unique and unforgettable experience.

The cottage is located in the enchanting Menfi area, renowned for producing high-quality wines. You can visit some of the wineries in the area for a tour and tasting of fine local wines. Moreover, the location on the coast offers the opportunity to discover one of the most unspoiled and beautiful beaches in Sicily, Le Solette, with its crystal-clear sea, and the archaeological site of Selinunte, the largest in Europe with its imposing Greek temples.

On foot, walking along the beach (about half an hour), you can even reach Marinella di Selinunte to enjoy the view of the temples from the beach and try some delicious restaurants.

Finally, please note that the nature reserve is a park with wild animals, docile donkeys, cats, other free animals, and horses in a fenced area and an aviary on the property’s border. To respect nature and animals, we kindly ask you to close the gates that isolate the villa’s spaces permanently.

Its setting is an oasis of absolute calm. Gaze out over a landscape carpeted with ordered vineyards, countryside and sinuous olive trees, on a view that flits from the dazzling green of the garden to the sky’s light-infused shades of blue. Shades of gold and brown rise from the sun-scorched earth and a profusion of palm trees and other exotic plants frame the vista. Villa Sciara is spread over three elevations. On the ground floor, with access from the outside, there are two double bedrooms en suite (if a couple prefers to sleep with their children, instead of a separate bedroom, there is a double sofa bed for children in the larger bedroom on the ground floor). The heart of the residence is the first floor: the living room is very bright and elegant in its minimalist style, the modern, luxurious kitchen preserves the Sicilian construction tradition of the wood-burning cooker and the very pretty oven. Along the corridor there is a cosy double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a twin bedroom, which can be converted into a double, and which also has a bathroom with shower and a WC. Essential and harmonious furnishings, soft colours that blend well with the antique, typically Sicilian floors and the white walls.
