You will enjoy a lovely Jeep experience through Etna area: the Corruccio Cave, lava flow from 2002 eruption.

It will be operated an hiking experience at the Sartorius Mountains area: this part will be adapted to the different
customers will take the tour. Traveling through one of the wine roads of Sicily and crossing large
expanses of vineyards (Etna D.O.C.), we will stop at a local winery, to enjoy a wine tasting and
have lunch, tasting the genuine food of this area (or Rustic Restaurant if you prefer). In the afternoon
get back driving through the Alcantara Valley a unique canyon comprised of basaltic lava (the
“Alcantara Gorges”) and shaped by the waters of the Alcantara river.

The Alcantara’s vertical cliffs reach 30 meters in height and its structures have been forged by high intensity geological and geothermal events. In prehistoric times, a river flowed here over clay sediments until a massive
volcanic eruption channeled magma into the river bed forming the current canyons.

Once on board, admire the fascinating town of Taormina from a different point of view, and relax
for approximately 3 hours while the English speaking Captain will describe the coastline.
You will visit not only Isola Bella, one of the most renowned places in Taormina, defined as the
Pearl of the Mediterranean, but the whole coast between Capo Naxos and Mazzarò including Naxos
Bay, the Grotta del Giorno (refuge for fishermen), Capo Taormina, the fascinating Grotta Azzurra with its colorful shades of blue and red corals, the Bay of Mazzarò, S. Nicola Bay and Spisone Bay.

Swim or snorkel for around 20 minutes into the crystal clear waters in one of the most beautiful bays of Taormina and give a glance at the bottom filled with corals and starfish. These wonderful sea landscapes with Etna Volcano and the Gulf of Giardini Naxos in the backdrop will let you a suggestive and pleasant memory of the day.

Departure for the Val di Noto to discover two wonderful Baroque towns that belong to the UNESCO heritage. All this area was badly damaged in 1693 by a strong earthquake and largely rebuilt in Sicilian Baroque style.

After around 1 hour driving through the country side you will reach Modica that is divided into two parts, the “higher” town and the “lower” town, connected by numerous flights of steps.

Palazzi and houses rise from the bottom of the gorge seemingly stacked one on top of the other. Magnificent churches, with their inspiring domes, bell towers and intricate facades, punctuate the red-tiled roofs and one is struck by the uniform beauty of the whole.
For the real chocoholic, it is included a sweet experience: put your hands on and make your own
choco-bar! A workshop aimed to introduce you to this unique tradition and to discover how home
made chocolate is still produced in the Baroque city of Modica.
Later, a short drive will lead you onto Ragusa to visit one of the most fascinating towns in Sicily.
Ragusa has caused many visitor’s jaw to drop as they first set eyes on the lower part of the town. This
afternoon return to the pick up point.
